How should I prepare for my first treatment?

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your first appointment in order to fill out paperwork or you can download it off of our website under the Resources and Forms tab. Bring your prescription, a copy of your venous doppler (if applicable), your insurance card, and photo id. Please wear comfortable clothing. Expect to be here for an hour to an hour and a half.

Do you accept my insurance?

BRHC works with and will authorize benefits on behalf of the patients for coverage of Lymphedema services.

Medicare accepted

Do I need a prescription and a venous doppler in order to receive treatment?

Yes. You need a prescription from a doctor and a venous doppler (if you are being treated for Lymphedema) that was done within the past year.

How long will I have to come for treatment?

Every individual heals and responds differently to treatment so it is hard for us to give an exact amount of how long you will need treatment. We start with at least a month of treatment and then we discuss a new plan of care with you whether it will be to continue treatment or prepare for discharge of treatment.
